Jesús Eduardo Martínez Rodríguez, known artistically as Chune, has emerged as a prominent figure in the Venezuelan and Latin American music scenes. Chune is a singer who turns experiences into powerful songs.

Chune, born and raised between Caracas and the Venezuelan coast, specifically in Puerto Píritu, found a refuge in music from an early age. His inclination to write and compose songs emerged as a way to express his own experiences and those of others, addressing both the moments of success and the adversities of life. Through music, Chune was able to face his own challenges, including a battle with depression.

The name “Chune” became an alter ego for Jesús Eduardo, who saw in this character an opportunity to tell real stories through his songs.
