Michelle Cardinal has spent her life helping others unlock their voices—but her own breakthrough came in a moment of surrender.

A former New Age healer who explored hypnosis, breathwork, astrology, and sound healing, Cardinal is now the founder of Sing With Chelley, a voice and faith-based coaching practice that anchors emotional release in praise, not performance.

“Nothing ever brought lasting change until I invited Jesus in,” she says. “Now I’m seeing miracles.”

Healing Didn’t Happen Until Faith Took Center Stage

Despite years of training and success, Michelle noticed a pattern: her clients experienced temporary breakthroughs—but not lasting transformation. She was stuck, too.

“I knew all the tools. But I still felt broken. That’s when I realized I needed a deeper truth.”

That truth came in a dramatic encounter with Christ. Singing praise, she was filled with the Holy Spirit. Her entire brand and purpose shifted overnight.

“I no longer coach people to simply ‘express’—I guide them into worship. That’s where real healing begins.”

From Homelessness to Homecoming

Starting over wasn’t easy. Michelle lost everything—her home, her income, her certainty. She battled depression and suicidal thoughts.

“People thought I was crazy for believing singing could heal. And sometimes I questioned it myself.”

Yet she clung to God’s promises. Today, she lives in a beautiful home with her daughter and has built a flourishing business grounded in truth.

“The valleys prepared me for this calling. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.”

The Power of Worship in the Room

A defining moment in her journey was singing “So Much More” during a personal worship session. It broke something open inside her.

“I wept like I never had before. I had met the real Healer.”

From that point on, everything in her brand changed. She stopped offering spiritual patchwork and started leading people into Christ-centered expression.

Advice for Founders and Faith Leaders

“You don’t need to perform. You need to praise.”

Michelle encourages entrepreneurs to stop striving and start surrendering. “It’s not about what you build—it’s about what God builds through you.”

What’s Next for Sing With Chelley

Michelle’s new creative offerings include the upcoming release of her children’s book, Sing With Me, set for December 1, 2025—a celebration of praise through childlike wonder and musical play.

She’s also writing Why We Sing, a full-length adult book set for Spring 2026, focused on the biblical and spiritual foundations of singing as a form of healing, truth, and worship.

She continues to develop her podcast, Get Vocal with Michelle, and is planning retreats and praise-focused workshops around the country.
