Honorable Abang Pius Besong, also known as AB AMANI JOJO, is a man of many talents and accomplishments. He has earned a reputation as a distinguished Public Administrator, Environmentalist, and Philanthropist par excellence, in addition to being a successful Business Mogul and Nigerian Grassroots Politician. Currently, he serves as the Director General of Timber Control in Cross River Central Senatorial District, under the esteemed administration of Governor Ben Ayade.

Born on May 15th, 1982, Honorable Abang hails from Alike village Iso-Benedeghe community, Boki Local Government Area, Cross River State Nigeria, the son of late Police Inspector Abang Pius Besong and Mrs. Magdalene Ada Abang. He began his academic journey at the renowned St. Finian’s Primary School, Iso-Benedeghe, Boki Local Government Area, Cross River State, from 1986 to 1991, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate.
