Throughout his corporate career across multiple industries, Clarke had a close view of how professionals responded to sustained pressure. He saw people trying to meet expectations while moving between the different “hats” required by work, family and everyday life.
His conclusion is straightforward: periodically resetting is necessary.
The upcoming Negril experience grew from that belief. Participants will have three days away from their normal environments in a safe, nurturing tropical setting, giving them room to think without immediately returning to the next meeting, deadline or obligation.
It is a simple idea, but one informed by decades of observation.
Clarke’s coaching today focuses on authenticity, resilience and clarity. Each of those qualities can become harder to access when someone has spent too long responding to what everyone else needs from them.
