Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon J Walker.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I was born and raised in Houston, TX. Being black and brought up by a single mother I was already put into a statistical category on what my life was gonna be like. My mother worked hard to make sure I didn’t fall into the life of a statistic, and she did her best in teaching me that I can be whoever I wanted to be. After graduating from Humble High School in 2011 I ended up in Dallas at Bible college but after 3 years there I graduated knowing that my heart lies in business and media. That’s when I moved to Los Angeles, and after 2 years of “chasing the dream” I found myself losing grip of who I was trying to fit in, so I made the most pivotal decision of my life so far and that was to move back to Texas. That decision paved the way for me to finally start my marketing company “Fifty Two Creative Firm” and the rest is history.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

I think the hardest part about getting to this point in my life was letting go of the people who wasn’t ready to step into the greatness I saw in them. People like myself always want to “put the team on” and that’s not always a bad thing but it does become a burden whenever you constantly put yourself in the position to be disappointed. Losing friends isn’t easy and it’s something a lot of people can’t get past. But I’ve always had to overcome adversity and this point in my life wasn’t any different. Instead of a loss I saw it as an emotional investment.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am the CEO/Founder of Fifty Two Creative Firm. We specialize in social media/brand marketing and all other media in general. We see ourselves as a versatile team who can provide services from graphic design all the way to commercial media. We believe in setting the standard for creativity, that it’s a gift that should be cherished and stewarded well. A lot of times people work for these agencies and companies who only care about a check, we take pride in knowing that we have clients that know with everything in them that we support their ideas as if it’s our own. We do everything with passion and heart. Cause the creative world deserves that.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My advice would be to enjoy the journey. Don’t look at what everybody else is doing. Stay focused on your craft and applaud others around you. You may feel like you’re riding the bench but when it’s your chance to get in the game make sure that you’re ready to go. Cause when the door opens and you take that step through, everything else will be a domino effect. Stay true to yourself and your craft.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success to me means, strength. That no matter what life through at you, no matter how many times you got knocked down, you always managed to find a way to keep going.

What’s next for you?

Career wise, what next is diving back into my film side. But personally?.. Growth is always what’s next for me. I was want to see how I can be better.
