Choosing a Different Kind of Voice

In a world full of loud branding and constant self-promotion, I believe clarity speaks louder than noise. My work has always been about helping brands sound like themselves — not like everyone else.

That belief didn’t come from theory. It came from experience.

Learning the Power of Emotion in Spain

When I founded Baasgalgo in Spain, I wasn’t trying to build a brand. I was trying to save dogs. But by leading the PR and storytelling myself, I learned how emotion, when handled honestly, creates trust and momentum.

We worked with Spanish and international celebrities, but the heart of the movement was never polish — it was truth. People responded because it felt real.

A Life Shaped by Culture

I was born in the Netherlands and lived across Spain, Italy, and the Mediterranean before settling in the U.S. That life taught me to listen first. Different cultures communicate differently, but authenticity always cuts through.

That awareness shapes how I work with clients today — especially those navigating growth, change, or reinvention.

Leaving Corporate Life with Intention

After years in luxury retail, I knew I needed to realign. I wasn’t burned out — I was disconnected. Leaving wasn’t about rejecting my past. It was about honoring it.

I took everything I had learned and shaped Baas Studio as a consultancy rooted in clarity, emotion, and alignment.

What My Work Really Looks Like

I help founders and boutique brands find the heart of their story and turn it into messaging that feels honest and grounded. My work blends strategy and emotion. I look at what a brand wants to say versus what it’s actually communicating — and I help close that gap.

The outcome is simple: a brand that people trust because it finally sounds like itself.

Looking Ahead

I’m intentionally growing Baas Studio slowly. I want to stay close to the work and the people behind it. My focus is on soulful founders, boutique hotels, wellness leaders, and purpose-driven brands who care about depth.

I’m also creating resources to support others through reinvention. This next chapter is about expanding impact without losing intimacy — real connection, real clarity, real transformation.
