At 17, Herrera faced a trifecta of adversity: broke, undocumented, and a new father.
Unable to legally work, he turned to entrepreneurship—not as a passion project, but as a way to survive. He bred his dogs for income, helped manage his stepdad’s band, and discovered a sharp eye for business in the process.
